WHY PEOPLE HAVE SELF-DOUBT AND LOW SELF ESTEEM?



MY SELF-DOUBT DISORDER EXPERIENCE

                    Thinking a lot about some unnecessary things will develop social anxiety in people. Such social anxiety leads to low self-esteem and a sense of self-doubt in one's mind. At my time I used to question myself several times before doing anything, even for the things that I have done before. At that time, I was finding everything difficult to do. I couldn't talk like before, I couldn't feel like before. I couldn't feel free, couldn't feel spontaneous. Because of doubt, I lost the ease of doing it. I used to think "How people are doing it? Why am I not able to do this like them? What will they think about me if I would mess?" I used to think that I am always under the microscope, getting judged by the world, every single second. I used to think I will get criticized by someone for every single thing I would do next!

SELF-DOUBT AND FEAR OF FAILURES

                      Self-doubt causes insecurity. This feeling of getting criticized rose my insecurities. I used to feel insecure about everything. I used to think, what will happen if I would do it? Or what will happen if I wouldn't do it? Being active among people and being inactive among people, both things were scaring me hard. In the feeling of insecurity, people think a lot about the consequences of circumstances and feel insecure about every possible result, that's because of kind of fear of results. To get rid of these silly circumstances, I got a solution. People who were doing it well, I started copying them! And this is what most people do! If you see carefully, lots of people around you just behave in this pattern, they act similar, sound similar. It's just like going with streamflow without your own identity!

WHAT CAUSES SELF DOUBT

                    Once you get into a constant feeling of self-doubt, you keep losing your identity. Your opinions about yourself become weaker and the opinions of others about you become strengthen. And these self-doubts create lots of insecurities in one's life. Time flew, it had been 6 months now. I gave it everything, my efforts, my time, my attention, everything...! But still, it was not going as I wanted it to be. Something was missing. I was not satisfied. I was so tired. I was so confused. Opinions of others were stuck in my mind so deeply. I couldn't let them go deeper anymore. I couldn't chase anymore. I was lost. I lost my sleep, I lost my composure, I lost sight of mine and everything...!                 

LOW SELF-ESTEEM AND DEPRESSION

                     Self-esteem is your thinking about yourself, your vision about yourself. It's knowing the things you can do, knowing your worth! Due to self-doubt and anxiety, self-doubt becomes your weakness. Once you get into a constant feeling of self-doubt and lack of belief in yourself, you gonna question yourself thousand of times before doing anything. The more you question yourself, the more you gonna lose the ease of working, feel self-doubt at work. It will lead to low self-confidence.


                    Understand that spontaneity is an important thing. You always cannot push yourself for doing something. And how long are you gonna push yourself hard? Somewhere, someday you will get tired of hustling and you will stop! So, gaining spontaneity, gaining the flow! You gain spontaneity by having clarity in your mind about yourself, about your ability, the things you are good at, or the things you are not even good at yet! The more fluency you get, the more energy, the more enthusiasm you will find while doing the same thing again! It makes your belief stronger about your capability. And this is how self-esteem improves! Your belief in yourself has a huge impact on your self-esteem, on your thinking about yourself. So you always have to stand with yourself and trust yourself in every single situation! 

CONCLUSION

                    This is most important thing one should do while having self doubt is helping yourself! Understand whatever is external is illusions, comparison is myth, a destructive myth! It is seeming real because of your belief. Disconnect yourself from such toxic environment, from toxic people. Spend time with good people, spend time with yourself. This is how one can overcome self-doubt and fear. Feel free, feel you!


                    So take care of your mind, take care of your body, take care of yourself! Let's take a step towards self-awareness of mental health. We are taking a stand for mental health awareness among youth, mental health awareness among kids, mental health awareness among women, mental health awareness among seniors! Let's take a step towards peace, together! It's just depression, give it a way to get out of your head. Have faith, have patience, stand strong. This shall too pass!
